Fire department announces return of Hot Summer Nights

City of BrantfordFire department announces return of Hot Summer Nights

The Brantford Fire Department announces the return of Hot Summer Nights, a series of free events for families that includes a fire truck sprinkler, freezies, and the opportunity to learn about fire safety, on Monday, June 26, 2023.

“We’re excited to host this series of fun and educational programs once again,” said Todd Binkley, Fire Chief for the City of Brantford. “We look forward to offering families the opportunity to cool down, have fun, and learn about fire safety.”

Hot Summer Nights includes a fire truck sprinkler and free freezies for attendees. Brantford Fire Public Education staff will also be on site to educate families about fire safety. The events are happening from 6:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on the following dates:

  • Tuesday, July 4 at Princess Anne Park, 17 Helen Ave.
  • Tuesday, July 11 at Prince Charles Park, 77 Herbert St.
  • Tuesday, July 18 at Holmedale Park, 331 Grand River Ave.
  • Tuesday, July 25 at Silverbridge Park, 75 Dante Cres.
  • Tuesday, August 1 at Parsons Park, 160 Ontario St.
