Brant OPPBrant OPP charge London resident with Impaired Driving

A London resident is facing charges following a traffic stop in Paris, Ontario.

a member of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) stopped a vehicle on Grand River Street North  at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 27, 2023. Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle, the officer administered a roadside Approved Screening Device (ASD) test. The driver was transported to detachment for further testing.

Megha THAPA, 34-years-old of London, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired and,
  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)
  • Driving motor vehicle with open container of liquor
  • Driving motor vehicle with liquor readily available

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on July 14, 2023.
