Trail Mix Live coming to Brantford Farmers’ Market

City of BrantfordTrail Mix Live coming to Brantford Farmers' Market

Trail Mix Live! will be coming to the Brantford Farmers’ Market on Saturday, July 8, 2023 from 9 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.

The event will feature live performances from two of this year’s Trail Mix featured artists, Tyler Wilson and Ashley LeBlanc, as they each perform a set of original and cover songs live outdoors at the Brantford Farmers’ Market.

In celebration of the Brantford Farmers’ Market 175th anniversary, a complimentary canvas tote bag will be available for the first 175 guests. The tote bags will also include some delicious trail mix from one of the market vendors, Original Kettlecorn and Gourmet Popcorn.

Attendees can pick up the tote bags at the Discover Brantford pop-up booth while supplies last. Once the initial 175 tote bags have been given out, customers will also have the option to purchase the tote bags, which feature the Brantford Farmers’ Market logo.

The event will also include free face painting, games, prizes, a scavenger hunt for children, and a customer appreciation cake cutting ceremony at 10:00 a.m. with the Mayor of the Month, Councillor McCreary.

“We are so excited to bring the success of our Trail Mix program to the Brantford Farmers’ Market for a great day of live music, games and laughs,” said Kara Davey, Manager of Tourism, Culture and Sport. “We hope this event will encourage the market’s loyal customers to stay and play, as well as attract more residents and visitors to explore the amazing product offerings provided by our markets’ vendors.”

About Trail Mix

Each sign includes a unique QR code to be scanned using a smartphone to gain access to free curated playlists featuring a total of 30 songs from 19 local artists. There are a total of ten playlists along the trail, each with three songs and approximately 10-12 minutes long, which allows the trail user to continue discovering local music during the duration of their hike.
