County Public Library to celebrate Brant FanFest

Explore your favourite fandom and drop in for a day full of comics, cosplay, and special guests to celebrate Brant FanFest on Saturday, November 25, 2023.

“Brant FanFest is such an exciting and unique event to plan; we’ve seen nothing like it before at the County of Brant Public Library,” said Laura Eadie, Program and Outreach Coordinator. “We’re looking forward to seeing some fresh faces and creative FanFest costumes.” 

Brant FanFest kicks off at 10:30 AM with Superhero Storytime, an interactive adventure featuring themed stories, songs, early literacy activities, and crafts for kids ages 3-8. Throughout the day, Fans of all ages are invited to take pictures and have fun with green screen backdrops, create a custom Brant FanFest 2023 button, and explore new worlds with virtual reality. In the afternoon, Fans are invited to the much-anticipated main event: a FanFest Panel and Interactive Q&A session with Richard Comely, creator of Captain Canuck.
