Support the Brant County SPCA on Giving Tuesday

Local NewsSupport the Brant County SPCA on Giving Tuesday

The Brant County SPCA is thrilled to announce that two generous donors have offered to match donations collected through their Giving Tuesday Campaign, up to $20,000.

Funds will directly support their Greatest Shelter Needs, focusing on providing animals the care that they need and deserve.

Bennett, a four-month-old kitten, is just one of those animals who has directly benefited from funds raised through the shelter. He was brought to the Brant County SPCA by two wonderful community members after presumably being thrown from a moving vehicle.

As a result, Bennett suffered some facial trauma and an injury to his right leg that would ultimately result in an amputation. Thanks to the community and to those who brought him to the shelter he is receiving the care he requires to be happy and healthy.

Having a consistent source of income helps the Brant County SPCA prepare for animals like Bennett whose needs go beyond typical procedures.

“We are very proud to offer assistance to Bennett and other animals like him,” said Nadine Dwinnell, Director of Animal Care. “Having the opportunity to double your donation through our Giving Tuesday Campaign is a wonderful way to expand your impact and allows us to reach even more animals”.

If you’re interested in having your donation matched, simply donate at www.brantcountyspca.com or call in your donation at 519-756-6620 from November 28 to December 5, 2023.
