Classes at the 1909 Culinary Academy combine a hands-on cooking experience with delicious tasting experiences.
French food is all about simplicity and was developed as a reaction to reliance on spices. Rich, buttery sauces and meat juices create hearty smooth flavours.
Our menu will begin with a traditional French Onion Soup followed by a hearty Niçoise salad, which is a wonderful meal all on it’s own. Our main dish will be Coq au Vin followed by a traditional plate of cheese.
Bring along your reusable take out containers because there are often left overs after a class at the 1909.
