For those looking to satisfy their sweet tooth, the second annual Paris Sweetheart Dessert Fest and Shopping Market will be returning to the Paris Fairgrounds on Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25, 2024.

The festival, organized by Brantford’s own KB Events Canada, will welcome over 85 vendors for its first event of 2024, including a variety of artisan shops and food vendors from across Ontario.

“We found that people really like all things food related and personally, I love everything sweet, so I thought that it would be fun with Valentine’s Day coming up, to host an annual event in February and kick off the new year,” said Kate Bonneville, owner of KB Events Canada.

From butter tarts to beaver tails, dipped cheesecake on a stick, cinnamon buns and more, Bonneville said that visitors can expect two days of non-stop desserts, including plenty of options for those who are gluten free and vegan.

“We will be spread out between both of the halls at the Paris Fairgrounds and they will be filled with different vendors and artisans selling all sorts of desserts and sweet treats,” said Bonneville. “We will also be having a bar for visitors to grab drinks, as well as food trucks onsite too, so there will be plenty of things to satisfy everyone who comes out, including those with dietary restrictions.”

The Sweetheart Dessert Fest and Shopping Market will take place on Saturday, February 24 and Sunday, February 25, 2024 at the Paris Fairgrounds.

The organizer also noted that they will be giving out free swag-bags for the first 25 visitors on each day, and that there will be an opportunity to win a grand prize basket.

The event will take place on Saturday from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. and on Sunday from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
