This was originally going to be a fundraiser to help pay for the new Fire Alarm upgrade at The Rope Factory Event Hall, however a local businessman and friend is in need.
Steve Burchell was recently diagnosied (again) with Cancer. He’s beat it before and he’s going to beat it again. We’re pivoting the proceeds of our fundriaser to help support Steve and make sure he has the funds needed to keep is business (Steve’s Tea Company) running while he’s on the mend.
We’ve teamed up with our friends from 50 Mission to host an un-forgettable night of LIVE music. All the funds raised from this show will go towards Steve Burchell’s fundraising efforts.
50 Mission is the best Tragically Hip tribute band, but we hesitate to call them a tribute — they’re more like a love letter to The Hip! Close your eyes and you’ll swear you’re back in time standing at a Hip show.
