Brant OPPTraffic complaint leads to Impaired Driving charge

A Brant County resident is facing charges following a traffic stop in Burford, Ontario.

members of the Brant Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) were conducted general patrol when they observed a vehicle that was possibly involved in a traffic complaint from earlier in the day at approximately 2:18 p.m. on Sunday, March 3, 2024,

Upon speaking to the driver of the vehicle it was determined that the driver had consumed several alcoholic beverages prior to driving their vehicle. The driver was arrested and transported to detachment for further testing.

John SUTOR, 75-years-old of Brant County, has been charged with the following:

  • Operation While Impaired – Blood Alcohol Concentration (80 Plus)\

The accused has been released and is scheduled to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on March 15, 2024.
