The Royal Canadian Legion Branch 605 presents GRACE 2 (Celebrating The Tragically Hip) on Friday, May 3, 2024 from 7:00 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. at The Gaukel Memorial Arena, 7 Gaukel Drive in St. George.
This is a 19+ fundraiser event, in support of Glioblastoma Brain Cancer Research with door prizes, silent auction and a raffle table. Items donated are from The Tragically Hip. The evening is being hosted by DJ Sean with GRACE 2 as the featured band.
$40 Tickets per person are now being Sold.

Every day, 27 Canadians hear the words “you have a brain tumour.”
We want to do something to make things better for those 27 people, their families and loved ones. On Friday, May 3rd, we will be hosting our second annual fundraiser for Glioblastoma. The musical entertainment will be Grace 2, celebrating the music of the Tragically Hip and the late Gord Downie, who died from Glioblastoma Brain Cancer.
We have chosen to repeat this fundraiser as last years event was a huge success, raising over $34,000 to go towards research and hopefully finding a cure and this year we hope to surpass that amount!
ChefD Catering and Events will be on site cooking up bacon ‘n cheddar tater tot poutine, and crispy chicken sandwiches. All proceeds from the food will be generously donated back to our cause.
There will be a large ticket raffle table with items such as a smoker donated from Brian Witteveen of Strodes, Dinner at home with ChefD Catering and Events for four, a signed photograph donated directly from the Tragically Hip and signed by all five band members!! We will also have a lower scaled raffle table and of course, door prizes.
The outpouring of support from our local community and surrounding areas near and far has been incredible!
