Brantford Bulldogs signed forward Aiden O’Donnell, the 14th overall selection, to an OHL Scholarship and Development Agreement on Friday, May 3, 2024/

O’Donnell, from Cole Harbour, Nova Scotia, arrives in Brantford from the Steele Subaru U18 program in Dartmouth, NS where the 6’1”, 170lbs left shot forward posted a tremendous 22 goals and 24 assists for 46 points in 31 games to lead his team in scoring as an underage player, finishing fourth overall in the Nova Scotia U18 Major Hockey League and winning the league’s Rookie of the Year.

O’Donnell continued his excellent season in the playoffs where he again led his team with five goals and six assists for 11 points in 12 games, finishing tied for fifth n the NSU18MHL. 

Eligible for the OHL Draft through his father’s (Chris O’Donnell) playing experience with Ottawa and Oshawa in the late 90’s, Aiden has already carved out his own success story.

Representing Canada at the Youth Olympic Games in 2024, O’Donnell posted four points in four games, while leading the Canadian side with a plus-8 rating.

We couldn’t be more excited to bring Aiden to Brantford and to see him grow as a player and person as a Bulldog.”
