All meetings held will still allow for public electronic participation via Zoom. Individuals wishing to attend meetings in-person will be required to pre-register as structured capacity limits will be in place in light of the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Face coverings, proof of vaccination or exemption and identification must also be provided.

Those wishing to register can do so at calendar.brantford.ca/meetings by selecting the meeting they would like to either speak at or attend. Here, participants will indicate whether they would like to speak at the meeting in-person or virtually, or attend the meeting in-person. Registration is also available by phone at 519-759-4150, Ext. 5358. Those wishing to speak at a meeting are still required to register by 9:00 a.m. the day of the scheduled meeting.

Members of the public can continue to access live-streamed meetings from the comfort of their homes by visiting Brantford.ca/VirtualCouncilwithout having to register in advance.

The City of Brantford is fully committed to transparency and open public meetings. Recognizing a desire to balance a return to safe, in-person public meetings, with a desire to continue to offer the public, consultants, media, staff, and others the opportunity to engage with Council virtually, this hybrid meeting format allows options for keen participation in meetings.
