Police have released the identity of the deceased in a suspicious death investigation on Six Nations of the Grand River First Nations territory.
Members of Six Nations Police Service (SNPS) received a report of an individual with life-threatening injuries on the side of the road of Fourth Line Road near Mohawk Road in the Township of Tuscarora at approximately 11:20 a.m. on Friday, May 10, 2024.
The individual was transported by Ornge air ambulance to a hospital, where they succumbed to their injuries on Saturday, May 11, 2024.
The deceased has been identified as Brandon Keith HILL, 49 years of age of Six Nations.
A postmortem examination was completed at the Centre of Forensic Sciences in Toronto. The results will not be released to protect the integrity of the investigation.
SNPS has engaged the assistance of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) with this ongoing investigation under the direction of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch, in conjunction with the Office of the Chief Coroner and the Ontario Forensic Pathology Service.
