Crime17-year-old charged with murder in Six Nations death

A 17-year-old Hagersville resident has been charged with first-degree murder after a body was found on Six Nations of the Grand River on Wednesday, July 3, 2024.

Six Nations Police were called to a home on Mississauga Road in Ohsweken at approximately 2:00 p.m., where emergency crews found a body.

One person was then taken into custody. A 17-year-old youth from Hagersville has been charged with first-degree murder.

There are no details on the victim at this time.
