Police investigate break and enter into home under construction

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members responded to a reported break and enter on Bowen Place in the County of Brant at 9:48 a.m. on Friday, September 13, 2024.

It was determined, that sometime over night between 6:00 p.m. on September 12, 2024, and 8:40 a.m., on September 13, 2024, unknown suspect(s) forcibly entered a residence under construction. 

After gaining entry, suspect(s) proceeded to damage several rooms within the dwelling.

The investigation is ongoing, and police are seeking assistance from the public. If you have any information regarding this incident, please contact Brant County OPP at 1-888-310-1122.

Brant OPP investigating overnight vehicle theft

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Brant County members responded to a report of a stolen vehicle at an Eight Concession Road address in the County of Brant at 9:09 a.m. on Sunday, September 15, 2024.

At approximately 1:45 a.m., an unknown suspect attended the address, entered the pickup truck and subsequently removed it from the property.

The truck is described as a grey 2004 GMC Sierra pickup truck. It has aftermarket rims and a ‘Durham Masonry’ sticker on the rear window.

Brant County OPP locate stolen vehicle

On Sunday September 15, 2024, at 8:03 a.m., Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) members responded to a vehicle theft on Patten Drive in the County of Brant.

A black 2023 Legend enclosed trailer was reported stolen some time between 11:00 p.m., on September 14, 2024, and 7:00 a.m., on September 15, 2024. The vehicle was recovered several hours later in the City of Hamilton.
