Brant County OPP investigating vandalism to street signs

Brant OPPBrant County OPP investigating vandalism to street signs

Members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), Brant County Detachment, investigated several reports of mischief to street signs on Cockshutt Road, Newport Road, and County Road 18, in the County of Brant at approximately 12:57 p.m. on Monday, September 16, 2024.

It was discovered that unknown individuals spray painted several road signs in the early morning hours of September 16, 2024.

The OPP is asking community residents living in the surrounding area that may have video surveillance systems to check their footage to see if they captured the individual(s) responsible. 

Members of the Brant County OPP are continuing to investigate and is seeking the public’s assistance with this investigation. If anyone has any information, they are being asked to contact police at 1-888-310-1122.
