Six Nations Police charge Ohsweken man with Impaired Operation

CrimeSix Nations Police charge Ohsweken man with Impaired Operation

Six Nations Police were advised of a single motor vehicle collision on 3rd Line at approximately 11:46 p.m. on Saturday, February 22, 2025.

Officers attended the area, along with Six Nations Fire and Emergency Medical Services. When officers arrived on scene and spoke with witnesses, they advised that two individuals were observed inside the vehicle. The driver of the vehicle was still on scene, but the passenger had been picked up by a passing vehicle and left the scene prior to police arrival. Signs of impairment were observed.  

As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Steven Vanevery-Hill (29 years old) of Ohsweken, ON with the following criminal offences: 

– Impaired Operation 

– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus” 

– Dangerous Driving 

– Drive Motor Vehicle – No Licence  

The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on April 4, 2025. The vehicle was impounded for seven days.
