Central Park in Brantford to be upgraded this year

City of BrantfordCentral Park in Brantford to be upgraded this year

The City of Brantford is pleased to announce that Central Park, located at 143 George Street, is scheduled for an upgrade in 2022 as part of the City’s Playground Replacement and Rehabilitation Program. The City is currently seeking input from residents to help inform the new playground design. Residents can visit Let’s Talk Brantford and take the 2022 Central Park Playground Renovation Survey until March 20, 2022, share their ideas or ask questions.

“Input from residents is so important to help us create a playground that best meets the growing needs of the community,” said Hana Abdulla, Coordinator of Parks Design and Development. “We look forward to developing a new accessible playground that will provide children and families more opportunities for outdoor fun.”

New park features will include new play equipment, accessible and paved pathways, engineered wood fibre chip safety surfacing under play areas and new benches. Residents can complete the survey on Let’s Talk Brantford.ca and participate in sharing their ideas and asking questions to the Parks Design and Development team.
