Brantford police are seeking information from the public to help identify the suspect involved in two separate early morning robberies of retail businesses. A knife was used by the suspects in both robberies. On Tuesday, March 15, 2022, at approximately 1:45 a.m., officers with the Brantford Police Service responded to the area of Erie Avenue and Gladstone Avenue for a robbery at a convenience store. Information was received to indicate a lone male suspect entered the business, brandished a knife, and demanded cash from the store employee. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes and fled the scene on foot. No physical injuries were sustained by the victim during the incident. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Caucasian, slim build, approximately 6’0″, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, grey/white camouflage cargo pants, black boots, black gloves, black ski mask with only eyes showing. A lone male suspect entered the business, brandished a knife, and demanded cash from the store employee. The suspect received an undisclosed amount of cash and cigarettes and fled the store on foot. No physical injuries were sustained by the victim during the incident. SUSPECT DESCRIPTION: Male, Caucasian, slim build, approximately 6’0″, wearing a grey hooded sweatshirt, black winter jacket with white patch on the left shoulder, grey/white camouflage cargo pants, black boots, black gloves, black ski mask with only eyes showing.
