The County of Brant is committed to delivering excellent customer service. As such, a number of changes are underway to in-person and online services to better support residents.
The following Customer Service Offices will be permanently closed but a drop box will be available:
- Community Services Office located at 15 Curtis Ave North, Paris
- Oakland Customer Service Office located at 3 King Street North
- Onondaga Customer Service Office located at 734 Hwy 54, Brantford
- South Dumfries Community Centre located at 7 Gaukel Drive, St. George
To serve you better, customer service will now be provided at local County of Brant Public Library branches, which offer a greater variety of days and times throughout the week including:
Scotland-Oakland Library Branch located at 281 Oakland Road. Hours include:
- Tuesday, 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Wednesday,10:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Thursday, 3:00 pm to 8:00 pm
- Friday, 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm
- Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
St. George Library Branch located at 78 Main Street North. Hours include:
- Sunday, 12:00 pm to 4:00 pm (October to April)
- Tuesday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Wednesday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Thursday, 10:00 am to 8:00 pm
- Friday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm
- Saturday, 10:00 am to 2:00 pm
Paris and Burford Public Libraries will also offer customer service in the near future. Stay tuned!

The two (2) main Customer Service Offices located in Burford and Paris offer a greater variety of services.
Burford Customer Service Office, located at 26 Park Avenue, is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Services include:
- Accounts receivable invoice payment
- Blue boxes and composters purchase and pick up
- Brant Transit punch cards purchase and pick up
- Building permits may be submitted but if you’d like to consult Building staff, please visit the Paris office.
- Bulk Water fob purchase and pick up. The fob can be reloaded and purchased online, but initially must be picked up from the Burford office
- Calendar pick up (free)
- Commissioner of Oath is by appointment only
- Dog license and tag
- Parking ticket payment
- Property tax payment and inquiries
- Public Works permits may be submitted
- Water testing sample bottles may be picked up. Drop off is on the last Wednesday of the month before 2:00 pm
Paris Customer Service Office, located at 66 Grand River Street North, is open Monday to Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30 pm. Services include:
- Accounts receivable invoice payments
- Blue boxes and composters (pre-arrange pick up of a composter at the Paris location)
- Brant Transit punch cards purchase and pick up
- Building permits may be submitted and Building staff may be consulted
- Calendar pick up (free)
- Commissioner of Oath is by appointment only
- Dog license and tag
- Parking ticket payment
- Property tax payment and inquiries
- Public Works permits may be submitted
- “Planner of the Day”. Use the computer in the office to meet with a virtual Planner to ask your planning questions.
- Water testing sample bottles may be picked up. Drop off water testing samples on the last Wednesday of the month before 2:00 pm at the Burford Customer Service Office
The Brant Sports Complex, located at 944 Powerline Road, Brant, is open from Monday to Sunday, 8:30 am – 8:00 pm and offers the following services:
- Dog park membership and key
- Dog license and tag
- Tennis court membership and key
- Camp registration and recreation program registration
