Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Wednesday, April 20, 2022.
Currently, there are 250 total active cases with 21 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 23 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,471 total confirmed cases, 9,154 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 1,218 new cases on Tuesday, April 19. As of Tuesday, there are 1,486 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 206 are in intensive care units (ICU).
