Hundreds of residents and guests celebrated the Thanksgiving weekend at the Burford fair from Saturday, October 8 through Monday, October 10, 2022.
The event, which took place at the Burford Fairgrounds, started on Saturday with the Hunter Youth horse show, followed by toilet bowl races, Captain Corbin’s magic show and the always popular demolition derby
On Sunday, October 9, the festivities began with a classic car show, featuring a variety of cars including a 1965 Ford Mustang.
Guests enjoyed a number of midway rides and games, as well as a wide selection of food trucks for all to enjoy.
Along with the midway and car show, a Monster Trucks and Freestyle motocross demonstration drew large crowds that filled the grandstand.
The motocross demo featured bikers from around the country showing off their sky-high stunts while “Loud and Dirty” and “Psycho Pat” battled it out for Monster Truck supremacy.
Children also had the opportunity to enjoy pony-rides and bonded with animals at the petting zoo.
