Brantford police received an emergency call for service in relation to an active fire involving five vehicles parked on Dalhousie Street at approximately 3:30 a.m. on Friday, October 14, 2022.

Members of the Brantford Fire Department worked to quickly extinguish the fires. The vehicles received extensive damage.

One man is charged with arson after multiple vehicle fires occurred early this morning. 

As a result of the investigation, a 22-year-old male from Brantford stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations:

  • Arson x5
  • Mischief Over $5,000

The accused was held pending bail.
