Brantford police are warning the public of the release of a high-risk offender to the community.

Fifty-nine-year-old Eugene Soucey was convicted for 12 offences, including three counts of prostitution of person under 18, sexual interference person under 16 and 18 counts of fraud under $5,000.

He is described as White, five-foot-nine and 159 lbs. Soucey served his sentence and is now living in Brantford.

The current terms of his release prohibit him from attending a public park or swimming area where person under the age of 16 is present.

Soucey is also not allowed to seek, obtain or continue in any employment that involves being in a position of trust or authority towards people under the age of 16.

Police say if members of the public witness Soucey breaching any of the terms of his release to contact 911 rather than approaching him.
