County of BrantRenway Energy makes donation to Cainsville Community Centre

Brad and Marc Villamere, owners of Renway Energy Inc., donated $35,000 towards the new Cainsville Community Centre on Thursday, February 2, 2023.

“This campaign has been incredibly successful. The support from businesses and residents who want to invest and build up this community is truly inspiring. The community has come together for Cainsville,” said David Bailey, Mayor for the County of Brant. “On behalf of the campaign team, I’d like to thank Brad and Marc Villamere, co-owners of Renway Energy, for their generous donation.”

The Meeting Room will be named in honour of Renway Energy’s donation.

Established in 1974, Renway Energy is a family-locally owned and operated fuels, lubricants and HVAC company serving agricultural, construction, fleet, automotive and residential customers in the County of Brant and beyond.

“Over the years, Renway has supported organizations and individuals in need,” said Brad Villamere, President of Renway Energy Inc. “What’s special about being part of establishing the new Cainsville Community Centre, is that it has provided us with an opportunity to express our gratitude to the members and organizations who have supported Renway for nearly 50 years. Members of successful communities often share fundamental values and rally together to achieve common goals. The new Cainsville Community Centre is the result of community collaboration and will be a great place for people to gather, enjoy and ultimately strengthen our community, as a whole. We, at Renway Energy, are very proud to be part of this process right here at home.”

The new Centre is busy taking bookings for 2023. The new Cainsville Community Centre will be 9,200 sq.ft, and accommodate 350 people. The single-story building will include a modern and transformable community hall, meeting room, spacious lobby and an outdoor covered patio that will host many unforgettable events. The Centre will blend with the natural environment and showcase sustainable design features such as solar energy and electric car charging stations.
