Leonard Fazari of Brantford won $250,000 in the Daily Keno 10 pick draw on December 31, 2022.
Leonard, a retiree, said this is his first major win.
“I’m a daily lottery player. I’ve been playing since the 90’s,” Fazari said, while at the OLG Prize Centre in Toronto to collect his cheque.
The father and grandfather discovered his big win on New Year’s Eve.
“I checked my ticket on OLG.ca when it was a couple minutes into the New Year. That’s when we realized we matched all 10 numbers. We were so happy,” said Fazari. “A few days later, we told our three sons and they just couldn’t believe it – they were overjoyed!”
Fazari plans to save this win and spend it thoughtfully.
“We will go with the flow for now. This money opens up a lot of doors,” he concluded.
