The County of Brant is looking to the community to help finish the $1.5 million dollar campaign for the new Cainsville Community Centre.

“We are so close to completing this campaign,” said David Bailey, Mayor for the County of Brant. “The community has come together for Cainsville and now we need to drive it home and raise the final $75,000.”

The idea for a new community centre was raised by community members to Council in 2015. In 2021, County Council approved construction for the new Cainsville Community Centre.

“Throughout this campaign, we have seen a number of leaders emerge; both businesses and individuals,” said Councillor Brian Coleman, campaign member. “Community builders have come forward to support this project because they believe that having a place to gather will strengthen their community and they believe fostering a sense of community is important. We are incredibly grateful to all of the donors who have made this build possible and we are now looking for our final donors to help us finish this campaign!”

Additional naming opportunities are available starting at $15,000. Leave a legacy or recognize your business in a beautiful space that will be a focal point of the community for decades to come.

The new Cainsville Community Centre, located at 15 Ewart Avenue, is designed with nature and comfort in mind. Approximately 9,200 sq.ft, (and accommodating 350 people), the single-story building will include a modern and transformable community hall, meeting room, spacious lobby and an outdoor covered patio that will host many unforgettable events. The Community Centre will blend with the natural environment and showcase sustainable design features such as solar energy, energy efficient fixtures and equipment and electric car charging stations.
