The City of Brantford, in conjunction with the Neighbourhood Hubs Association, will be celebrating the third annual Wheels on the Pavement event at the Brantford and District Civic Centre on Sunday, May 28, 2023.

Food will be available for purchase and everyone is welcome to enjoy this free event where kids of all ages have the opportunity to see, touch and explore.

“The City’s Public Works team is pleased to support the Wheels on the Pavement event where families and children can interact with and learn about the vehicles that assist us in our daily work,” said Inderjit Hans, Deputy Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) for the City of Brantford.

Free parking is available in the Earl Haig Family Fun Park parking lot located at 101 Market Street, South and the Market Centre Parkade located at 59 Icomm Drive.

Event goers are encouraged to bicycle to the event and use the free bike valet with supervised security during the event.

“The Neighbourhood Hubs Association is proud to bring back this beloved community event,” said Jayme Wilson, Wheels on the Pavement Event Chair and Downtown Central Neighbourhood Association Chair. “It will be bigger and better than ever with lots of unique entertainment and more vehicles than ever before!”

Help fill a truck! Event organizers will be collecting non-perishables and school safe snacks such as granola bars, apple sauce, fruit cups, etc. on behalf of Gifts of the Heart, a local not-for-profit organization dedicated to addressing the issues of food and clothing insecurity that faces young school-age children.
