City of BrantfordArrowdale Dog Park to be closed for nearly two weeks

Arrowdale Dog Park, located at 282 Stanley Street, will be closed for approximately two weeks as it undergoes a renovation to improve user experience.

The renovation will primarily involve concrete and asphalt work on-site to improve the park’s infrastructure, ensuring a safer and more enjoyable environment for all dog park enthusiasts.

Two week temporary closure details:

  • The park will be closed for renovations beginning on September 11, 2023 (weather permitting)
  • The anticipated completion date for the renovation is September 22, 2023.

During this period, Arrowdale Dog Park will be completely inaccessible to the public, and unavailable for use.

“We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and appreciate your understanding as we work to make the park even better for you and your furry friends. In the meantime, the public is invited to visit Dogford Dog Park as an alternative location for their dogs to play and get exercise,” said the City of Brantford.

“We kindly request the public’s cooperation in adhering to the closure and avoiding the park during this period for safety reasons. We will provide regular updates on the progress of the renovation, and any changes to the anticipated completion date. Please stay tuned to our official communication channels for the latest information,” said a City of Brantford representative. “We thank you for your patience and look forward to welcoming you back to an improved Arrowdale Dog Park once the renovation is complete.”
