On Thursday, October 28, 2021, at 5:00 a.m., the Brantford Police Service received a call from a concerned citizen to advise of a possible impaired driver.
Officers located the accused and the subject vehicle at a residence on Richter Street. Speaking with the accused, officers observed signs of impairment. 
The accused was placed under arrest for Impaired Operation and provided two samples of his breath as required by law. Both samples were in excess of the legal limit.
As a result of the investigation, the accused stands charged with the following Criminal Code violations: 
•Operation While Impaired 
•80 Plus 
Additionally, a licence suspension was issued and the vehicle impounded as per law.
