Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its COVID-19 update for Friday, April 22, 2022.
Currently, there are 253 total active cases with 47 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and 22 people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 9,558 total confirmed cases, 9,238 total resolved cases and 67 deaths.
Meanwhile, the Province of Ontario reported 4,668 new cases on Friday. Currently, there are 1,591 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 214 are in intensive care units (ICU).
