Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Tuesday, March 8 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 78 total active cases with 10 new cases being reported in the last 24 hours and four people in hospital.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 8,440 total confirmed cases, 8,296 total resolved cases and 66 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 1,208 new cases on Tuesday. There are currently 779 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 246 are in intensive care units (ICU).
