Brant County Health Unit (BCHU) provided its daily COVID-19 update. All statistics are as of today, Tuesday, January 4 at 11:00 a.m.
Currently, there are 871 total active cases with 449 new cases being reported in the last 96 hours and 13 hospitalizations.
Since the pandemic began, BCHU has reported 6,030 total confirmed cases, 5,125 total resolved cases and 34 deaths.
The Province of Ontario reported 11,352 new cases on Tuesday. There are currently 1,290 people hospitalized with COVID-19, and, of those in hospital, 266 are in intensive care units (ICU).
