Driver charged following MVC on Hwy. 403
Members of the Brant County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged an individual following a motor vehicle collision investigation.
On April 4, 2025, at approximately 12:32 a.m., officers responded to a report of a collision in the center median on Highway 403 East.
As a result of the investigation, Brendon OHRI, a 31-year-old male from London, has been charged with the following:
- Failure or Refusal to Comply with Demand
- Dangerous Operation
The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford at a later date.
OPP investigate Break and Enter at Paris convenience store
A member of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP), discovered a break and enter at a convenience store on Grand River Street North in Paris while conducting patrols at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, April 5, 2025.
Upon investigating, the officer observed a damaged glass door on the south side of the building. A female suspect was captured on video surveillance and is described a wearing a long winter coat with the hood up, goggles, a face mask, and gloves.
The OPP is continuing to investigate and is asking residents and businesses in the area with video surveillance systems to check their footage to see if they may have captured the suspect involved. Anyone with information is being asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122.
Brant OPP seek assistance to identify theft suspect
On Thursday, April 3, 2025, at approximately 9:27 a.m., members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a theft at a Grand River Street North business, located in Paris, Ontario.
It was discovered that a theft had occurred on April 1, 2025, at approximately 7:20 a.m. It was determined that a female suspect entered a store and removed approximately $500 worth of products. The suspect then exited the store and entered a white coloured van, which left the area in an unknown direction.

The suspect is described as a middle-aged white female, with medium-long blonde hair, wearing white shoes, black pants and sweater, a blue jacket, a grey scarf, and carrying a large grey tote bag.
The OPP is continuing to investigate and is asking businesses in the area with video surveillance systems to check their footage to see if they may have captured the suspect or the vehicle involved. Anyone with information is being asked to call police at 1-888-310-1122.
Brant County resident facing two counts of Spousal Assault
Brant County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged one individual following an intimate partner violence investigation.
On Sunday, April 6, 2025, at approximately 6:35 p.m., officers responded to a disturbance at a residence in Brant County.
As a result of the investigation, a 37-year-old individual from Brant County was arrested and charged with:
- Spousal Assault (two counts)
The accused was held for a bail hearing and is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice located in Brantford at a later date.
Brantford man charged with Stunt Driving
Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Brantford resident with Stunt Driving.
Members of the Brant County OPP were performing proactive patrols and observed a motor vehicle travelling at a high rate of speed, which led to the traffic stop being initiated on Shellard Lane at approximately 10:42 p.m. on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
As a result of the investigation, a 34-year-old male from Brantford is charged under the Highway Traffic Act with:
- Drive motor vehicle – perform stunt – excessive speed
- Speeding 50+ km/h over posted limit
Anyone charged with Drive Motor Vehicle – Perform stunt receives a 14-day impoundment and a 30-day driver’s licence suspension as per statute.
The accused is scheduled to appear in the Provincial Offences Court – Brantford, at a later date.
