County of Brant will be hosting a special event aimed at supporting immigrants and newcomers who have been in Canada for 15 years or less and are living in the County of Brant.

The “Building Bridges: County of Brant Newcomer Information Session” will be held on June 19, 2024, at the Brant Sports Complex, located at 944 Powerline Road, Paris, ON.

This informative and welcoming event will feature representatives from various community organizations, including Brant County OPP, County of Brant, Nova Vita, Legal Services, Brant County Health Unit, and more. They will be present to share valuable information and answer any questions attendees may have.

“We are thrilled to host this event and provide a platform for newcomers to connect with essential services and support networks within our community,” said Constable Rawan Al-Louzi, a panelist for the event. “Our goal is to ensure that all newcomers feel welcome and have the resources they need to thrive in the County of Brant.”

  • Morning Session: 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
  • Evening Session: 6:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.

This event is free of charge, and no registration is required. Light refreshments will be provided for attendees.
