Brant OPPBrant OPP investigate theft of motorcycle in Paris

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) received a report of a theft involving a motorcycle in Paris at approximately 10:56 a.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024.

The victim reported that he was selling his White Harley Davidson Motorcycle when the incident occurred.

On July 17, 2024, at approximately 4:15 p.m., the victim met with two male suspects who presented themselves as potential buyers. The primary suspect provided a fake bank draft as payment for the motorcycle and subsequently took possession of the vehicle. The suspects are described as follows:

Suspect 1:

Description: White male, approximately 40-50 years old, medium build, short dark hair.

Clothing: Blue patterned button-up shirt (short sleeve), dark baggy pants, grey shoes with white soles.

Facebook Account: David Glow

Suspect 2:

Description: White male, approximately 40-50 years old, skinny build, Eastern European accent, medium length brown hair.

Clothing: Blue T-shirt, grey sweatpants, black thong flip flops, sunglass tan lines.

The victim attempted to contact Suspect 1 after being unable to deposit the bank draft. However, he discovered that he had been blocked on Facebook, and the phone number used by the suspect was going straight to voicemail.

The victim also provided a picture of Suspect 1’s driver’s license and captured footage of the vehicle and trailer used by the suspects to take the motorcycle on his home surveillance cameras. Photos of the suspects and the vehicle are included below.

The Brant County OPP is actively investigating this incident and urges anyone with information regarding the suspects or the stolen motorcycle to come forward or call the OPP at 1-888-310-1122 or Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477 or helpsolvecrime.com.
