Brant OPP respond to disturbance at Paris District High School

Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a disturbance at Paris District High School at approximately 10:53 a.m. onThursday, June 13, 2024.

In accordance with standard procedure, the school initiated a hold and secure protocol.

Brant County OPP officers promptly arrived at the scene to investigate the incident. The individual involved in the disturbance was located and taken into custody without incident.

The hold and secure measures were in place for approximately five minutes and have since been lifted. Fortunately, no injuries were reported during the incident. One youth is currently in police custody.
