A Brantford man is facing sexual assault charges in connection with two separate incidents on walking trails in the city.

Police say a 34-year-old man allegedly approached a female on a trail near Shellard Lane and Colborne Street West around 9 a.m. on Sunday, June 9, 2024. He then approached another female around 9:15 a.m. on Tuesday, June 11, 2024..

He was arrested on Wednesday, June 12, 2024 and has been charged with sexual assault and criminal harassment.

Officers say he was held for a bail hearing.

Members of the public can expect to see more police on walking trails in Brantford.

Investigators believe there may be more victims so anyone with information is asked to contact Brantford police at 519-756-7050.
