A 43-year-old Brantford man has been charged with four counts of voyeurism and several child pornography related charges after hidden camera images were located on his cell phone.
The partner of the accused notified police after she located several concerning videos of her son on the accused’s cell phone.
Investigation revealed that the accused had been secretly videotaping both his 14-year-old son and his common-law partner while they were engaged in washroom related activities including showering and changing clothes.
Further police investigation revealed that the accused had previous encounters of a sexual nature with the youth.
As a result of the investigation, a 43-year-old man from Brantford has been arrested and charged with the following Criminal Code violations:
- Voyeurism X 4
- Invitation To Sexual Touching
- Printing/Publishing Child Pornography
- Possessing Child Pornography
The accused was held for bail.
This investigation is ongoing. Members of the Brantford Police ICE Unit (Internet Child Exploitation) are overseeing this investigation.
