Brantford man involved in single vehicle crash

CrimeBrantford man involved in single vehicle crash
On Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at approximately 10:15 p.m., officers with the Brantford Police Services responded to a single motor vehicle crash which occurred in the area of Powerline Road and Paris Road.
The vehicle was observed travelling east on Powerline Road at speeds well in excess of the speed limit. As the driver approached the intersection at Paris Road, it appears as though the accused lost control of the vehicle and crashed after allegedly swerving to avoid another vehicle.
The accused’s vehicle sustained significant damage in the collision.
Both the accused and the passenger from his vehicle were transported by ambulance to hospital for treatment of non-life- threatening injuries.
As a result of the investigation, a 48-year-old man from Brantford stands charged with Dangerous Operation under the Criminal Code.
