The City of Brantford, along with community partners, invited residents to stuff a Brantford Transit bus with donations for the Food Bank on Friday, December 2, 2022.
The event was a huge success, as organizers collected 3,223 lbs of food, as well as, cash donations, well surpassing the City’s 2021 efforts of 2,415 lbs.
“We are very grateful to the City of Brantford and Brantford Fire for once again organizing this event and bringing the community together to support those most in need,” said Heather Vanner, Executive Director of Community Resource Service. “A big thank you goes out to each and every person who came out to the event. Your donation will make a meaningful difference in the lives of so many.”
