Brantford seeking residents’ input for playground design

City of BrantfordBrantford seeking residents' input for playground design

The City of Brantford is pleased to announce that Hillcrest Park is scheduled for an upgrade in late 2022 as part of the City’s Playground Replacement and Rehabilitation Program

The City is currently seeking input from residents to help inform the new playground design. Residents can visit Let’s Talk Brantford and take the 2022 Hillcrest Playground Renovation Survey until February 20, 2022, share their ideas or ask questions.

“Staff is pleased to bring playground improvements to Hillcrest Park,” said Tracy Burgess, Coordinator of Parks Design and Development. “We look forward to receiving input from residents and build on a plan to create something all residents and visitors will be proud of.”

New park features will include additional trees, new play equipment, accessible and paved pathways, wood chip safety surfacing under play areas and new benches. Residents can complete the survey on Let’s Talk Brantford.ca and participate in sharing their ideas and asking questions to the Parks Design and Development team.
