The U-15 Synergy team captured their third medal of this season with a gold medal performance in the OVA Challenge Cup Championship at Niagara College on Sunday January 12, 2025.

Synergy had a slow start to the tournament, losing their opening round match in three sets to Forest City VC Sycamore before defeating the London Sharks Fury in straight sets to finish the round robin with a 1-1 record.

Synergy went on to dominate the playoffs, starting with a straight sets victory over Synergy Reign, 25-21, 25-16. In the semifinals, the squad battled South County Bandits, earning another straight sets victory to advance to the championship final.

Synergy took on Venom Valor in the final, dropping a hard-fought opening set, 28-26 before bouncing back to take the second set 25-11. In the third and deciding set, Synergy dominated, easily winning 15-9 to secure the gold medal.
