CARSTAR Brantford raises money for Cystic Fibrosis

Local NewsCARSTAR Brantford raises money for Cystic Fibrosis

CARSTAR Brantford held a fundraising carwash, with all money raised going to Cystic Fibrosis Canada, on Friday, June 28, 2024, .

CARSTAR Brantford and CARSTAR Simcoe proudly held their annual Soaps It Up car wash on Friday and, this year, the TORCAM team decided to challenge themselves by hosting two car wash events on the same day, and the results were phenomenal.

Together, they raised an impressive $12,250, exceeding their fundraising amount from last year by $9,000. The team’s dedication and commitment were evident in every detail. In May, they created a car wash committee that met weekly to meticulously plan these two events. From reaching out to the local fire department and contacting vendors to inviting elected officials, the committee’s hard work and coordination made this event very successful.

Adding to the excitement, they had Bruiser from the Brantford Bulldogs at the CARSTAR Brantford car wash, where he helped wash cars and fundraise. CARSTAR Brantford is actively involved in their community especially with the Brantford Bulldogs. We would like to give a special thanks to Sebastian Torres and family for their incredible effort in hosting both fundraising events.
