The Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a Brant County Commercial Motor Vehicle (CMV) driver with multiple driving offences.

On March 9, 2024, at approximately 3:46 p.m., police officers stopped a CMV in Grey County.

As a result, a 77-year-old driver from Brant County has been charged with:

–      Driver of Commercial Motor Vehicle – Fail to Surrender Proof of Insurance

–      Fail to Surrender Permit for Motor Vehicle

–      Drive Commercial Motor Vehicle – Improper Licence

–      Fail to Complete Daily Inspection Report Forthwith After Inspection

–      Fail to Surrender Inspection Schedule

–      Operate Vehicle – Fail to Display Inspection Sticker or Proof

The Brant County OPP would like to underscore the importance of Commercial Motor Vehicle safety. By not completing a daily inspection, you are putting the lives of those around you at risk.
