Dwayne Armstrong named new Brantford Deputy Fire Chief

City of BrantfordDwayne Armstrong named new Brantford Deputy Fire Chief

The City of Brantford Fire Department is pleased to announce that Dwayne Armstrong has accepted the position of Deputy Fire Chief of Support Services.

Deputy Chief Armstrong has over 20 years of experience with the Brantford Fire Department and is currently the Brantford Fire Department’s Chief Fire Prevention Officer. Dwayne holds a Fire Protection Engineering Technology Diploma from Seneca College, a Masters Certificate in Municipal Leadership from York University, and is a graduate of the Ontario Fire College.

“We are pleased to have recruited this position from within the Fire Department. Deputy Chief Armstrong brings with him many years of experience and education that will prove invaluable to the role. I am confident in his leadership and ability to continue to enhance our services to the community,” said Brantford Fire Chief Todd Binkley

Deputy Chief Armstrong will begin his new role on Monday, November 22, 2021.
