The City of Brantford’s Earl Haig Family Fun Park reopened for the summer on Friday, June 17.

The park, which offers a leisure pool, splash pad, lazy river, playground, snack shack and beach volleyball, will be open until September 5 including holidays. 

Hours for the park’s first week open vary but beginning June 24 until September 5, 2022, the park will be open Monday to Saturday from 11 am. to 8:30 p.m. and Sunday from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m. The pools close 30-minutes prior to the park closing. 

Visitors are welcome to bring their own food and non-alcoholic drinks into the park, however the Snack Shack concession is also open and offers a variety of snack food items, hot dogs and hamburgers as well as several refreshing drink options.

The park offers a wide variety of entry passes including daily admission, admission after 5:30 p.m., 10-visit passes, Seasons’ Splash Passes and more. Detailed passes and rates can be found at Brantford.ca/EarlHaig. 

The mini-putt area is currently being refurbished, but will be available for play but the batting cages and waterslide will remain closed until further notice for maintenance. 

Earl Haig will be offering an Aquatic PD Day Camp for kids ages 6 to 12, on Thursday, June 30. Campers will enjoy swimming, games, activities, crafts and more. Cost to attend camp is $42 per child. Register at http://brantford.ca/reconnect

Group rates are also available for schools, camps, non-profit trips, business groups and family picnics if booked seven days in advance. In addition, Splash birthday party packages are available to pre-book.
