Family-friendly outdoor movies are back this summer

City of BrantfordFamily-friendly outdoor movies are back this summer

Families can enjoy free outdoor movie nights each Wednesday and Thursday all summer long.  The City of Brantford is bringing back the popular summer Movies in the Park and Movies in the Square programs. Movies begin at dusk.

“Families love going to the movies and what better way to experience a film than under the stars in our beautiful parks throughout the City. We are extremely grateful to our local Neighbourhood Associations, sponsors and Pynx Productions for their support of these community activities.” said Jennifer Middleton, Coordinator of Special Events for the City of Brantford.

Participate in the Movies in the Square weekly trivia poll each Wednesday beginning July 4, 2022. Follow Harmony Square on Facebook for a chance to win a prize of a Movies in the Square VIP package of two drinks, two bags of popcorn, donated by In and Out Convenience, and two front row seats in a Muskoka chair! Winners will be contacted through Facebook messenger each Wednesday.

Pre-show activities will be included at each event and movie-goers are encouraged to bring lawn chairs and/or blankets with them to the event. Harmony Square will be selling popcorn, treats and refreshments during Movies in the Square. For more information, please visit calendar.brantford.ca or call 519-759-4150.
