Six Nations Police were advised of a single motor vehicle collision on Chiefswood Road at approximately 6:55 p.m. on Sunday, December 1, 2024.
When officers arrived on scene, they observed a female party who identified as the driver of the motor vehicle. Signs of impairment were observed on the female. Police attempted to conduct an Approved Screening Device to check for sobriety, but the female failed to provide a suitable sample.
As a result of the investigation, police have arrested and charged Sarah Bianchi from Hagersville, Ontario with the following offences:
– Impaired Operation
– Alcohol per se Offence “80 plus”
– Failure or Refusal to Comply with Breath Screening Device
– Dangerous Driving
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford, Ontario on January 16, 2025. The vehicle was impounded for seven days, and the accused had their driver’s licence suspended for 90 days.
