Impaired driver charged following single-vehicle collision

Brant OPPImpaired driver charged following single-vehicle collision

Members of the Brant County Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single-vehicle collision on Brant School Road at approximately 9:46 p.m. on Sunday, March 23, 2025.

Through investigation, police identified the driver as a 60-year-old from Brant County who was subsequently taken into custody without incident and transported to the Brant OPP Detachment.

As a result, Nancy DAVIDSON-HINDS, 60-years-old, of Brant County, has been charged with the following offences:

  • Operation while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Dangerous operation
  • Failure or refusal to comply with demand
  • Fail to remain, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act

The accused was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Brantford on April 10, 2025.
